KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY: The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) is set to take on Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky., this Thursday for the 12th race of the 2018 season. Austin Hill will be in the No. 02 Whitetail Heaven Outfitters Chevrolet Silverado and youngster Tate Fogleman will pilot the No. 20 Young’s Building Systems Chevrolet Silverado at the 1.5-mile circuit for the 150-lap Buckle Up in Your Truck 225.
AUSTIN HILL AT KENTUCKY: The Winston, Ga., native has competed at Kentucky Speedway the past two years and has completed all 300 laps. In 2016, Hill started 19th and finished 18th. The following year, he started 18th and finished 10th, earning his second-career NCWTS top-10 result.
TATE FOGLEMAN: The 18-year-old will make his second-career NCWTS start this Thursday night in the Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway. In his NCWTS debut at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Ill., Fogleman was having a very strong run, maintaining a position within the top-15 for most of the race, until it came to an abrupt end. On lap 115, he got caught up in an accident with another spinning truck, as he had nowhere to go. The Durham, N.C., native got out of his Young’s Motorsports Truck under his own power, was treated and released from the infield care center and was scored with a 27th-place finish.
